Terms of Use

Last updated: May 15, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maglis service operated by Maglis (“Maglis,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Maglis is offered in pre-launch form. Features, pricing, and policies may evolve. We will give reasonable notice before any material change that affects your account.

01The service

Maglis is an AI meeting platform that connects an automated bot to video calls on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, transcribes the conversation, and generates artifacts such as minutes, action items, or proposals in Arabic or English.

We may add, remove, or change features. We may use third-party providers (including Recall.ai, Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, Supabase, and similar) to deliver the service.

02Your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at team@maglis.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to use Maglis to:

  • record any meeting without the knowledge of participants where local law requires their consent;
  • violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • upload or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or deceptive;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
  • use the service to build a competing product or to train a model on our outputs without our written permission.

04Meeting recording and consent

The Maglis bot announces itself in the meeting and is visible to every participant. You are responsible for confirming that the recording and transcription of each meeting comply with the law of every jurisdiction in which the participants are located, and for obtaining any consent that local law requires.

05Your content

You retain all rights in the recordings, transcripts, and artifacts associated with your account (“Customer Content”). You grant Maglis a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Customer Content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

We do not use Customer Content to train general-purpose AI models. Sub-processors that handle Customer Content are bound by contract not to use it for their own training.

06Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Founding-100 pricing is locked for the lifetime of the account provided the subscription remains continuously active.

07Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if continued service would expose Maglis or other users to legal or security risk. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing team@maglis.ai.

08Disclaimer

Maglis is provided “as is.” AI-generated content can be incorrect or incomplete; review every artifact before sending it to a client or relying on it for a business decision. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maglis's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the DIFC, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

11Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in-product before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
